On the weekend, gymnast and seven-time Olympic medallist Simone Biles and NFL safety Jonathan Owens said their vows in Cabo, Mexico, in front of 144 guests. Simone Biles along with Jonathan Owens first met in 2020 on Raya, an Olympic gold medallist who began the friendship through Jonathan's DMs. While Biles wasn't old enough to take part at the Olympics until 2012, Biles joined the part of the senior national team at the age of thirteen in March 2013, when she turned sixteen. Biles won medals at the Olympics at Jesolo in Italy and Chemnitz and Chemnitz in Germany. Their destination celebration included 144 guests and comes just two weeks following the couple's intimate courthouse wedding ceremony in Houston on April 22. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, who had their first wedding at Texas courts back in 2023 celebrated again with a second wedding. Page Six reports that on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 the Olympic athlete and NFL Star tied the knot on the beach in Cabo, Mexico.
